Restoration

Restoration involves returning a building to its former state. It's done to historical buildings and buildings with more than 5 years to maintain their heritage and rich culture. The features of a building are recreated to match its appearance and function. Restoration also means returning a place to a known earlier state by removing accretions or later additions, or by reassembling existing elements. It is distinguished from reconstruction by not introducing new material.
